ROBUSO Sailmaker, BlauTitan-beschichtet 9,5"

The ROBUSO Sailmaker with BlauTitan coating (Blu-Tec) combines two cutting techniques in a single tool: the classic scissor cut and the precise slicing of high-strength materials. Developed in close cooperation with sailmakers and manufacturers of sails and ropes – for everyone who works with demanding technical textiles every day.

The new Blu-Tec coating gives the blades their characteristic shimmering blue look while at the same time ensuring a significantly longer edge life as well as improved chemical and corrosion resistance. The special sailmaker grind makes it possible to slice material cleanly – and at the same time to cut high-strength fibres such as aramid or Dyneema exactly and without great effort thanks to the fine micro-serration.

Especially for the Sailmaker, ROBUSO has developed a ball-bearing pivot with an external Elastic spring. This unique construction enables a particularly smooth, infinitely adjustable action – for maximum control and a precise cut, layer by layer.

The handles are coated with an innovative soft powder that provides a pleasant feel and keeps the scissors securely in your hand even during long working sessions. The oversized bow and the favourable pivot point provide excellent leverage – even thick layers of material can be cut without fatigue.
