A fine micro-serration is applied to one of the two cutting edges of the scissors to facilitate easy and precise cutting with our special developments. It secures the fibers of the material during cutting and allows for a uniform and accurate cut.

As a result, they are handcrafted from C60 carbon steel (non-stainless) to ensure longevity and durability due to our 100 years of experience in manufacturing.
Our ROBUSO Proton 615/S/5" has been unchanged for many years, as it stands out for its good leverage and unusually high cutting force up to the tip. The tips of the thread scissors are rounded and ideal for cutting threads.
Our customers often purchase the ROBUSO Proton scissors for technical textiles because the black coating provides effective protection against abrasive wear, creating a super hard surface in the cutting area.
Due to the coating, the scissors can be easily cleaned with solvent.
They are specially designed to allow our customers to use their tools longer without the need for re-sharpening, as the durability is approximately 2-3 times longer than scissors without special coating.
These scissors are particularly well-suited for cutting Aramid, Dyneema, carbon fiber, and fiberglass.
