With a lot of love and care, our scissors are expertly sharpened, ground, and assembled by our highly skilled sharpeners and assemblers.
For easy and precise cutting with our special developments, a fine micro-serration is applied to one of the two cutting edges of the scissors. It fixes the fibers of the material during cutting and enables a uniform and precise cut.
Highly appreciated by our customers is the light and even movement of the scissors, which provides a pleasant cutting experience.
Based in Solingen, we place great importance on quality and longevity in the production of our scissors.
Therefore, they are handmade from C60 carbon steel (non-stainless Carbon steel). With our 100 years of experience in manufacturing, our scissors stand for exceptionally high longevity and durability.
Our ROBUSO Proton 1071/S/7.75" has been in use unchanged for many years, as it is distinguished by its good leverage and unusually high cutting force up to the tip. The pattern shears are suitable for short, strong cuts, for cutting corners and edges.
Our ROBUSO Proton scissors for technical textiles are popular among our customers, as the black coating ensures effective protection against abrasive wear. It creates a super hard surface in the cutting area.
Due to the coating, the scissors can be easily cleaned with solvent.
They were specially developed to allow our customers to use their tools longer without having to resharpen them, as the longevity is approximately 2-3 times longer than with scissors without special coating.
The scissors are particularly well suited for cutting aramid, Dyneema, carbon fiber, and glass fiber.
