The Robuso PROTON tailor's scissors 1026/S/9.5" is among the most demanding models in the product range. Carefully manufactured, forged, and hardened from C60 carbon steel – classical Solingen manufacturing. What makes it the PROTON is the complete coating with proton®, a super-hard surface treatment offering two key advantages.

First: service life is 3-4× higher than standard Robuso scissors – important on abrasive materials such as carbon or fiberglass, which quickly dull unprotected blades. Second: the scissors can be cleaned with solvents, essential when cutting wet laminates or resin-coated materials. Nonetheless, resin buildup should be removed immediately after work ends.

One blade is micro-serrated – this prevents material displacement on slippery composite fabrics. Tapered blades with strong profile ensure high cutting power, the large long-eye fits men's hands.
