The KAI 7220 with 8.5 inch (220 mm) blade length offers the leverage of a large professional scissors in a still compact format. The KAI 7000 series was awarded the iF Design Award 2005. The patented Duplex Interlock adjustment screw is heat-treated and, at 45 HRC, extremely hard – it maintains tension adjustment permanently, which often becomes a problem with ordinary screws after just a few months. The blades made from stainless AUS8A steel stay sharp significantly longer than standard stainless at 58 HRC hardness.
