With much love and care, our scissors are masterfully straightened, ground and assembled by our highly skilled grinders and nailers.
We from Solingen, place great emphasis on quality and durability in the manufacture of our scissors.
Because of this, they are handcrafted from C60 carbon steel (carbon steel - not stainless). With our 100 years of experience in manufacturing, our scissors stand for an exceptionally long service life and durability.
The ROBUSO tailor scissors in master quality, are our classic tailor scissors model. They are distinguished by the firmness of the screw, the ease of movement and their uniformly high cutting force over the entire cutting edge to the tip. They are especially appreciated for their long life and sensitive cutting of thin and thick fabrics.
Because hygiene is important to us, we are breaking new ground with these scissors. To reduce the risk of infections caused by introduced germ and bacteria cultures, we have created the possibility to provide scissors with a durable and antimicrobial powder coating. This special surface treatment provides protection against corrosion in the area and permanently prevents the formation of germs. It has a preventive effect and kills germs 24 hours a day. Our coating has a proven antimicrobial effect over a long period of time, as long as the coating adheres to the scissors. Furthermore, it inhibits germ formation and prevents the spread of odors caused by bacteria.
Due to the favorable pivot point of our 1020/C/9", the scissors have an especially good leverage
