It creates a super hard surface in the area of the cutting edges. Due to the coating, the scissors can be easily cleaned with solvent. They are specially designed to allow our customers to use their tools longer without having to resharpen them, because the service life is about 2-3x longer than scissors without special coating. In the left-hand model, the blades and handles of the scissors are mirror-inverted. This allows left-handed people to work upright with a clear view of the cut material.
